We have collected a stunning selection of English vintage china, crockery, glassware, table linens & accessories for any kind of event where a touch of vintage glamour is required.
We also offer a bespoke Afternoon Tea package, a lovely way to celebrate any occasion.
Our Vintage China Hire
Everyone loves to be individual & to create a wedding or party that is a little bit different. Do you love the idea of a vintage themed event? Modern vintage means a classic, elegant & timeless style. Those thoughtful touches will add a touch of glamour & bring a talking point to any table, room or garden party.
We can cater for a formal wedding breakfast for up to 200 guests, having a beautiful & extensive collection of everything you could wish for.
Our china is perfect for any event, weddings, christenings, bridal showers, hen parties, garden parties…

Why not have some of our beautiful wedding favours on your tables? We source beautiful vintage pieces to create bespoke items, unique cake stands, tea cup candles & candles poured into delicate glasses.
Our Afternoon Tea Menu
You don’t have to be having Afternoon Tea at Claridges to add a touch of refined elegance to your special event…
Darby & Joan can provide the vintage china & all the food for a classic English Afternoon Tea.
There are many different tea party menus, but we believe that the classic recipes are still the best! We offer a simple but delicious menu, all freshly home made to order; including finger sandwiches, homemade scones with clotted cream & strawberry jam & of course not forgetting the layer cakes!
Our prices start from as little as £9.50 per guest & include the food & tea, as well as the vintage china…we will even do the washing up!
Whilst we are able to cater for large events, we would love to hear from you even if your party is for a small group, there is no minimum order for the hire of our china. We do ask for a minimum guest list of six if you wish us to provide the food for your party.
Set Up & Styling Service
Why not make it even more of a treat and let us set up & style your event for you. We can promise a professional styling service & this is at a cost of £2.00 per guest.
The price includes the selection & packing of your china, delivery & collection, unpacking the food & china & setting up your tables for you. We will provide a detailed proposal of what we can offer you on the day, together with an inventory of your items. Most customers choose this service & none have been disappointed. We will even do the dishes!
