Description
A great place to eat, drink and stay. Home of Leatherbritches Brewery.

A GREAT PLACE TO EAT

The Inn has an all day menu programme (from 12pm till 9pm), with the exception of Sundays (from 12pm until 8pm). All menus range from simple appetisers, starters and main courses to more formal ones. Our guests may choose also from the range of home made desserts that can be accompanied by freshly made tea or coffee.

Head Chef and his brigade use only fresh ingredients, locally sourced when possible, to prepare all the meals we serve.

We have recently refurbished the restaurant, pub and kitchen. That has given our guests the feeling of freshness, cleanness and brightness.

A GREAT PLACE TO DRINK

Leatherbritches Brewery
A unique feature of the Inn is the craft brewery that brews award winning real cask conditioned ales in the old fashioned way. The brewery is in a small building just behind the main building. Brewery 'looks' (it is too small for tours) can be arranged.

The ales are sold at the Inn and at several selected public houses in the area. Special Leatherbritches beers are also bottled for sale at the Inn and in high class off licences. Brewing takes place two or three times each week when it is worth while to sit with a pint in the brewery yard, just to enjoy the special soft aroma of the boiling wort.

The Bar and wine list
Our bar with its comforting log fire is well stocked with a carefully selected range of beers, lagers, spirits and liqueurs in addition to our Leatherbritches Ales. Our house wines are deservedly popular for their quality and good value. Our restaurant list includes a range of fine vintages from around the world.

A GREAT PLACE TO STAY

There are ten comfortable bedrooms, all of which are different. Nine have been created within the old building that was first a thatched medieval farmhouse and our ground floor room is in the old coach house. It was only in 1956 that the building ceased to be a private house and was licensed as a hotel.

Nine bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, one has its own private facilities. All rooms have colour TV, radio, direct dial telephone, hair driers, tea and coffee making facilities, and central heating. Other facilities offered for resident guests include a full laundry service, shoe cleaning equipment and a welcome for well behaved dogs.

We aim to provide a comfortable and friendly environment but as we are open to the general public, we do not claim to be either a country house hotel or a retreat. We are a traditional busy English Inn.

Civil Weddings

We have a Civil Wedding Licence and we offer the perfect location for your wedding, which are held in the marquee in the garden.
